Where to stay Newcastle metro area
Hi my brother is going down for a tattoo show and is looking for help on where to stay on the Saturday night for him and his better half.
He has been online looking and knows he can get cheap at the airport but that would mean he has to use the car, so ideally he would like something a short bus or taxi ride so saving car park fees and he can go for dinner or drinks and not bother about the car. So any ideas of somewhere? Thanks

Holiday Inn express are normally good value, here is one near the Metro Centre.

If he wants to stay at the Premier Innnear the airport, there is a Metro train station just behind that will take him directly into the city, if he gets off at the central railway station , it's about a 10 minute walk from there. If you pm me back , I can discuss other options with you, as I'm just outside the town.
