To convert N.m. to ft lb multiple N.m. by a factor of (0.737)
For example: 55Nm = 55 x 0.737 = (40.535 ft lb)

Therefore 240Nm = 176.88ft/lbs

Hope this helps

You could also convert it to toes/bucket by adding 72 and dividing by ½ the length of a shoestring.

When are you Britt's going to go Metric?

Never, as far as I am concerned, anything metric gets converted to proper understandable measurements in my head.
