Can anyone identify a warning light I'm getting?
I can't find my handbook at the moment, and have a warning light showing.... :-(
It's one of the non-fancy instrument panels, and this warning light is sitting right at the middle in the top. It's a circle with three lines either side (following the arc of the circle). It looks perhaps like something to do with brakes? I'm hoping the fact that it's showing yellow/orange rather than red is perhaps a good thing? |

When you replace the brake pads (front and/or rear), you must also replace the wear sensor. These cost around a tenner apiece on eBay. One end clips into the offside inner pad backplate and the other end connects to a wiring plug behind the wheel arch liner.

Only one sensor at the front and one at the back. Fronts are favorites as they do most of the work.
Sensor £10 (front or rear) Pads Prices around (fronts) OEM £35 (see a very trusted member on here) branded (mintex etc £20) Unless you are very hard of hearing don't be tempted by the £5 type squeal is so annoying after about.... well after about 3 mins actually

Bear in mind you may need discs as well.
Again not too expensive. |
