Default Tour of Longbridge

A few of use had managed to speak to the right people and get a tour of Longbridge today, it started with a technical talk on how the MG6 came about and videos of the Chinese operation, plenty of freebies and an auction for flags and framed pictures that have been hung in Longbridge for years, then it was onto the factory, we were taken to see Lord Austins office, which is still the same as when he left it, then through the cinema and we saw a prototype that the B*W 1 series was stolen from, although B*W will tell you different, then as we left that building, as a special treat up turned the MG ZT 520 race car which entertained us with some burnouts leaving a very nice pair of 11 on the tarmac, we then went into Manufacturing, although nothing was going on as they are getting ready to produce the Diesel in a couple of weeks, but well worth seeing never the less, the only part of the 75 machinery that was still there was the engine fitting bit,
Then it was onto the pub for a cheeky bit of dinner...
All in all an excellent day out and thanks to all concerned

A couple of my photo's but im sure many more will pop up lol
