where is the fuel pump relay on a 75 1.8T
I'm still trying to get my new car working and I was wondering where the fuel pump relay was , the fuses are in the car manual but the relays arn't.

It's actually located in the glove box fuse board inside the cab.
Owners with the earlier fuse board (taking standard size fuses, as used in the engine bay fuse box) will find sockets for five relays at the top RH corner. There are four in a row with one above. Here, the petrol pump relay is 'R1' on the RH end of the row. Diesels have their pump/pumps relay in the single socket 'R5' above the row. The later fuse board takes mini blade fuses requiring the extraction tool located in the lower RH section. Here, there are four relay sockets in a 2x2 block. Relay 3 is for the fuel pump and is lower left in the block. TC |
