Default Mg zt-t awd bf52 ugg

I've just bought MG ZT-T BF52 UGG in X-Power Grey. This MG started life as 260 V8 VIN 000004 and was converted at Longridge to evaluate AWD. It was thought to have been crushed in 2011, but recently resurfaced! The car has only covered around 2000 miles and though there are a couple of issues, it is in remarkably good condition.

My question is, should I leave it as AWD, or convert it back to a V8? (I have a MG ZT 260 V8 Rousch engine and gearbox too!)

Leave it as AWD I would love to see it! Its got to be one of the rarest ZTT's ever.

I second that John, leave it as it is.
You own the only 4WD ZT-T ever made.
Not a bad fleet you have

Fascinating car that you've bought there! I'd definitely not convert it to V8, because the fact that it's AWD is so much more part of its history!
Please take lots of photos for us to look at! Also, I hope this isn't a rude question, but how did you come across the car?

Didn't this car start life as a 75, and then get converted to a ZT once SAIC took ownership of the plant?

Currently running 2.5KV6 with Freelander AWD-they used a V8 because the conversion was simpler. How did I come by it?....this time last week someone rang me and asked if I'd be interested. I viewed the car on Saturday and after some negotiation, I agreed a price and collected today. Think I'll sort the few issues and leave it as AWD, after all, it is a one off! Here's the interior, note the raised gear surround!!
