Problems:
Has a suspected head gasket failure after a sudden loss of coolant recently. The hose that split was repaired but, ever since then the coolant needs constant topping up and there is some contamination showing on the inside of the oil cap. There is no visible leak of coolant, though.
The inlet manifold also has a loud rattle.
The driver's seat has a tear in the backrest.
There is a dent/scrape on the driver's side back wing.
The paint is peeling from what would be the chrome trim (if it were a 75) along the sides and door sills.
There are other small signs of a long life around the exterior and throughout the interior.
I've never managed to get the satnav to work again after something shorted out on one if it's connectors.
There are 2 keys but one will not start the car. The other is fully working but looks like a dog's dinner where the buttons have cracked and fallen off.

The Good Stuff:
Still, drives like an absolute dream.
Everything feels tight and responsive, just as good it always has been.
The car has been extremely well looked after mechanically with regular services, oil changes, etc. Timing belts were done about 20 months ago.
I have a big stack of receipts showing the service history and various other maintenance jobs over the years.
MOT until the end of October 2017.

The car will also come with a second full set of wheels with summer tyres on (Although 2 have low tread and need replacing, 2 are nearly new.), it is currently running with winter tyres. There is also a full-size spare in the boot. All 9 alloys are original MG ones like the ones in the photos.

Although it is far from perfect, with a bit of time and love, it could be a future classic. Unfortunately, I just haven't got the resources to give it everything it needs anymore so, I've decided it's time to send it to a better home.

I will be more than happy answer any questions about the car.

£800 - ALL OFFERS CONSIDERED.

I suspect you've got a very early pre -production interior there, as Alcantara seats should be Grey and blue, yours appear to be blue and blue

Thank you.

I tried to look up the VIN once but, I could never seem to get a result.
