Just to clarify...

This is the subwoofer only - it was removed from my Dad's 75 to gain the extra vertical space in the boot for his camera gear.

I can't use it as my CD changer is mounted in the space where it would go.

I have looked but can't find any guide price for one, so I'll start off a new thread later with pics, and I've also had a couple of PM's about it.

Ok, so I understand the black plastic under rear parcel shelf unit is on offer.

I don't understand whether the amp is internal to the unit or not?

I don't believe anything is on offer as yet as that would be in breach of club rules. All items for sale have to be advertised with a price.
This thread is just asking what it's worth.

Once I am advised on a value for it or can work out how much to advertise it for I will start a new thread.

To clarify:

It is the geet big black plastic housing with 2 speakers and the wiring connector. There is no amplifier on offer.

The unit you are describing contains the HK sub woofer and the power amplifier; part number and description of the unit is:

XQA100000 Sub woofer assembly - boot - power amplifier saloon

If the amplifier has been removed from the unit then it will be of little use/value.

Now I understand

And I accept it IS NOT on offer... yet.

Perhaps clarification is required about the amp if/when it is on offer?

The Amp is not on offer according to OP.
One main reason I should think, is because all the other speakers in doors are wired into it!

Then I'm confused John. Do you know where the amplifier unit is located, if not in the HK sub woofer unit?

You are most Probably right Mike.
I have a separate HK Amp that feeds the Bass (Sub) Unit and all other speakers,
but this could be just on the Tourer models.
On The HK System on saloons where is the rest of outputs obtained for remaining speakers?
I take it it must be from elsewhere.

I need to have a look at Jules saloon.
The Tourer HK Amp is under the Sat Nav Computer behind side trim panel.

Time to look at Rave and EPC.

Default Pics attached

I am assumimg like the tourer, the saloon has a seperate amp for the HK speaker upgrade. Looking at the unit, I can see no sign of an amp, and the multiplug wires go straight to the drivers at each end.

Part number is XQA 100000 E26640

Pics now attached:
