Default Back from Newquay and off to "Chips Away"!

Despite parking in a corner of the car park, and leaving a good 2 foot gap between my car and the white line marking the edge of my parking space, when I did my morning check on Thursday there was an extra dent and dark blue paint on the door.

So today I located a local SMART Chips Away, read up on the testimonials, and took the car off for the guy to view. The removal of 4 dents and a crease (same door, all suffered in the last 24 months) will cost £100 + VAT.

I'll keep you posted with the results - goes in next Tuesday.

Sorry Kandyman but I'm afraid I've failed on the before and after photos but in the passenger door there turned out to be more than the 3 dents I had spotted and more than the single crease. The after shot is easy - imagine a perfectly dent and crease free door.

A really excellent job for £100 + VAT. Louis seemed to care as much for the car as I did, even going back over to his garage to put it safely under cover for me overnight.

So if you're in the Guildford area or surrounding district and want a really professional job, I would recommend this guy 100% - 07855946133 or Google Chips Away Guildford and you can read his testimonials.

Be careful elsewhere though as Chips Away is a franchise and he was also attending to a 2 year old BMW that had a really poor paint job by another Chips Away franchisee.
