Default Sunroof drain driver's side

Anyone taken these off, I had a leak seat and drivers mat wet, water seemed to be coming from inside the a pillar. There wasn't too much water after I dried it out water was still dripping very slowly out of the side of the dash by the door seal (the panel gap) above the boot release switch. Anyone had this before.

I had what sounds like a similar experience last year, water was dripping down the inside of the doorhinge area at the passenger side, looked only a little bit, but when i looked under the carpet, there was over a gallon of water swimming around on the floorpan and soaked into the soundproofing, it was coming from the sunroof drainage pipe which passes through the cabin and into the sill area, it had become detached, so i glued it back in place, done the drivers side as well, it was a soft black rubber pipe which fitted into a smaller rubber pipe, not glued, screwed or fixed in any way, it had just fell out, god knows for how long, was probably months judging by the amount of water there was.
So have a look at that, its just about where your leak is..above the boot/bonnet release, mnd the N/S one too!

Anyone know how long the drain is ? Started leaking again today pocked through about 1 foot but nothing came out(gunk wise), some water dripped out from the front wheels but slowly.

I wouldn't poke through the drain. Apparently it can do more damage. What you need to do is get into the wheel arches and unblock the end, or better still cut off the stupid end.

Work I did yesterday :

The sunroof drains were barly working.

I took the side panel off the drivers side. It looks like the drain pipe had come out a little, so I have sealed it.

Passenger side looked dry, and more diffcult to get at.

Had a look in the wheel arches and Rover/BMW have used those stupid duck bill seals on the end and they were blocked. So I have trimmed the end off them like you do with the others. The roof now drains much better.

Before

After

Tested it with a hose pipe and can't see any leaks yet.
Now I just need to dry under the carpet.

You said you took off the drivers panel, do you mean the wing?

No the interior panels.

The panel with the bonnet & bonnet release.
The panel above the pedals.

You need to release the wheel arch liner from the bottom to get to the drains in the 2 & 3 pics.
