Default Freelander Slave Cylinder

Can anyone clarify if a Freelander 1.8 clutch slave cylinder is a direct fit onto the 75 or do the pipes need swapping over? I've searched and read conflicting opinions.

Thanks

The LR Slave is on the outside of the box the 75 on the in. Unless I misread your question no chance of fitting.

In my defence the OP didnt actually state which specific model of freelander. So go and stand on the techincal pedestal elsewhere

The last 1.8 freelander hydraulics i bought were complete with pipes and slave. very similar to the zs principle although you cannot split the one i bought. Master, pipes, slave - complete

Thanks folks, to clarify, all the fittings of Freelander slaves have been to diesel 75s as far as I can tell.

I know the manual gearboxes are the same across the petrol/diesel 75 but I wasn't sure if this was the case with the Freelander - would a slave for a diesel Freelander fit my 1.8t petrol 75 or would I need a petrol 1.8 Freelander slave?

Yep, the Freelander DIESEL slave is certainly the one that fits all 75/ZT engines. The pipes may vary slightly, but they can be easily swapped if necessary.
