CDT Rover 75 Fuel Pump Relay
Dear All,
Anyone know how much the fuel pump relay would cost for a diesel Rover 75 Y-reg? Also where's the best place to get one - I want to avoid the main stealer if I can? I may try a breakers yard but am cautious that the relay may also be knackered and cause me to look for other problems. Would Halfords etc stock them? Once again many thanks to all. |

The pump relay is probably a standard off the shelf one and should be avilable almost anywhere. Remove Relay 3 from the passenger compartment fuse box and take it to a motoring outlet. They should know what you need.

Pump Relay
I forgot to ask yesterday did your mechanic not swap over one of the other relays to see if the pump relay was what was causing the pump to continue running?

Thanks guys for all your help.
The problem is now fixed after fitting a new relay. I went to the main dealer in the end as it was only £15.71 and seemed to save me some grief as I had tried a number of local motor factors and euro car parts and none of them could supply it. Anyways all done so thanks again. |
