Nice idea..

Plenty of parking on the sea front at Colwyn Bay to the East of the pier, and the view is very nice too..

If you don't leave it too late in the year, the lil café places may still be open..

Oh and don't have it starting too early, give peeps time to get there..

Maybe a Sunday afternoon thing? ...

I'll start the ball rolling with a suggestion:-- Sunday the 26th of September at 1.pm in the car park to the East of Colwyn Bay pier... howzat!

Jules, he said:-

>>> I'll bring Biccies <<<

Now that I gotta see!

Talking about taking photos, the sand on the beach is firm enough to drive on in some places as I have seen large 4x4's at the waters edge launching boats, not sure if it's that firm everywhere. but the photo taker peeps could certainly get some lovely shots of their cars n stuff..

The village is about a mile away so you need the car to go for a proper meal, otherwise you can get snacks at the lil café/snack bar fingies all along the front.

Oh and the famous Conway Castle is only 5 miles away to the West.

From the Jctn of the M6 x M56 to Colwyn Bay is an easy hours drive, good roads all the way, mainly duel carriageway, well signposted, and not usually very busy..

Hmmm........... Think Mrs Incensed is going on a "murder mystery" weekend with her sister. How many gallons does it take to get to Colwyn Bay again?

Only one Gallon in a Diesel

Looks like I'll only need to bring 3 biscuits then.

And how many gallons for a V8? Or is it that the salt air means even more polishing? One Thermos should do, as well Jules.
