Default Lower front suspension arm bush (LH/RH bushes sided)

These are good quality replacement bushes for the lower front suspension arm.
Motortrade approved (not cheap imports like many on eBay!)
Part Numbers:
Part No: RBX101771 Bush & housing assembly-lower arm - LH, Service Line Part (Replaces Original Part NLA)
Part No: RBX101761 Bush & housing assembly-lower arm - RH, Service Line Part (Replaces Original Part NLA)

Model Fitment
They fit all 75 ZT's from 99-2005 and have a "beefed up" rubber area when compared with the standard OEM assy seen on the right.
They have been fitted to our very own ZT for 4 years now and still pass the MOT!
There is definitely less wheel shudder over bumps compared to OEM so why not treat your pride & joy to what I would consider an upgrade.

Yes in stock Eric.
Stocktake Dave has done a very good HOWTO on this job.

Not an easy task without a hoist.
Good luck

Default What's the latest best practice/quality nowadays

Hi Jules

My '03 75 Connie CDT Automatic went in for its Irish MOT today. Some sideslip problems requiring Front Wishbone Bushes to be replaced.

a) what's the current best practice/quality replacement available today?
b) do you carry the appropriate part?
c) What is the MGR time estimate to replace both sides?

Thanks

Tom in Athlone, Ireland

Hi Tom
An hour each side tops.

I swear by Unipart brand.
(tried them all)

Unable to post anything until 15th but you should be able to source easily enough if urgent.

Jules

Jules
Do you rate the Unipart ones ahead of Powerflex? I'm a gentle driver, and not into boy racing if that makes any difference. Thanks

Depends what you want.
Powerflex are aftermarket stiff bushes.
Unipart are OEM ZT copy.

ie
Stiffer than 75 OEM.
But softer than Powerflex .
Also Powerflex have only been tested for 2 years on these cars so are still being assessed for longevity .

You mention the Unipart as being ZT replacement parts. Are they suitable for a 'normal' 75 CDT Auto?
