Default [Sold] Ultrasonic Alarm Module & Fitting Equip

Item is now sold, thanks.

Hi,

I have the volumetric sensor assembly from the upgraded alarm system, complete with back plate, sensor module, and cover plate. The cover plate is a little grubby but should clean up nicely. Part is YWC 112250 : http://www.rimmerbros.co.uk/Item--i-YWC112250

£20 + £5 p+p

Hi,
did you remove this yourself? If so, please can you post details of how to do it safely? I had a go a while back but gave up when it seemed that I would pull the lining off too.

Regards,
Kearton

Can this be added to any of the alarm systems?

Hi All,

I am not sure on the fitting requirements, will need a t4 guru to pop in really.

To remove it, there is a ring above the headlining which clips to the unit below the headlining. The two come apart with clips- I simply prised it out with my fingers, just going slowly and gently around the edge, applying even pressure. Once this main part is off, the rest is fairly obvious as all the fixings can be seen.

Regards,
Simon
