Welcome To The Club

A warm welcome to the Rover 75 And MG ZT Owners Club. Established in October 2005 and now with over 19,000 registered members, this is the largest club devoted to the 75 and ZT available anywhere on the net. We pay tribute to one of the finest examples of British automotive engineering ever to hit the executive market. Our aim is simple; to help owners and enthusiasts of this outstanding vehicle enjoy them, keep them on the road, and meet fellow members to develop a strong community.

Inside we are continually increasing the amount of information and content on these wonderful cars. From the most detailed history to anecdotes from contributors, discounts on spares and servicing, and events across the UK, the 75 and ZT owners club is here to help.

The Owners Club Forum

As well as the pages you see before you, we also have a very active forum here where you will find a wealth of information provided by the thousands of members who contribute every day.

General queries and comments can be found in the Owners Club General Forum, top tips on maintenance and problem solving can be found in the Technical Help Section, buying or selling? the Club Classifieds are for you, want to know what's happening in your part of town? Take a look in the Events & Meets forum which also has dedicated sections for the various regions of the UK, or want to talk about non car related topics? why not browse our Social Forums. There are many more sections inside, come and have a look.

The images forming the background of the club home page are for the most part made up of images of your cars - these change everytime you visit, so each of you can be the face behind the club. If you want your car to feature here then let us know by contacting us here.

The faces behind the club

Christopher - Owner & Club Director

Christopher found his perfect car in a Rover 75 (R70 FVE) in July 2005 after a succession of meaningless connections with Ford cars and an odd phase when he drove a Datsun Sunny Station Wagon in deepest darkest New Zealand!

He originated from sunny Malta and is a biomedical engineer by profession, he spends his days devising new and exciting ways of measuring the outputs of people's brains (it is easier in some than in others!) has a Maltese wife, a New Zealand born son and a Canadian born daugther. Together with his 4 cats and 2 (slightly nervous) cockatiels they all live in Rugby. He now spends his weekends trying to make R70 FVE shine even more than it does and adding that ultimate accessory. For the club he sorts out the webpages and administers the running of the site.

Pete - Club Director

Well known for many things, and pretty much none of them pleasant or printable, Pete was the creator of the first web site for the club. His Rover 75 was in fact a landmark as it was the first purchase he made of notable taste. Sadly he has been unable to repeat this feat to date.

Pete divides his time between his Midlands roots and Hampshire (when his girlfriend lets him in the house), and works near London as part of a management team running an IT company. His 75 is now retired after racking up over 130,000miles in less than five years, but he still polishes it every weekend and he’s looking for another to add to his stable. He also keeps having this idea of building a 75 coupe, which is very worrying.
