Windows has flagged up that it wants to install ie7, I thought ie7 had been out for ages and that I had that anyway!? Or is this the internet explorer that everyone keeps saying don't install?

Don't do it. It is unfinished and will cause you problems accessing many web sites including the club. Stay with six until they fix all he bugs they have written into it.

I didn't say rubbish I said unfinished, a work in progress, a shed of an application. MS and others do tend to put out what appears to be the finished article, they are in fact getting their customers to do the testing for them. Get it out first fix it later, standard practice, in this case it is an appalling indictment of that philosophy.

Apparently the drop down menus on the club site are inoperative for some folks, seems to be (system + 7) that is an issue for some, but not all. Go figure :)

A colleague at work installed IE7, on his machine it killed the cd writing software (Roxio) and broke his Yahoo toolbar stuff. He went back to a previous restore point in XP, and it took nearly 2 hours to revert the machine.:unlucky:

Personally I only use Firefox for browsing the web, much more stable than anything MS put out.

In fact I don't run anything MS (apart from my keyboard!), as I use Linux instead of windows.:D
