Hi All, as title, how do you remove the climate control switch panel on a vehicle with Hi-Line head unit, have had head unit out but do not want to force anything, also any idea what the little white box is behind head unit?

Hello,

The climate control panel is fairly easy to remove (from memory!).

The plastic front (switch surround) simply unclips with a bit of leverage from something blunt (I used half a wooden peg!).

Once the plastic panel is removed there are four screws to undo and then the unit is free. All that remains is to unplug the 2 wiring looms on the rear.

Hope this helps.

From memory, the sides - remember to use something blunt that won't damage the climate control panel of the centre console.

Good Luck

An old credit card or plastic membership card run around the edges is good for getting the panel off and does no damage.
