Is there a HOW TO fit a tow bar and electrics?

just bought a seconffd hand tow bar and relays.
the bar has both black and white sockets and a load of wires and relays.
I understand that the bar is an easy fit but what about the electrics?

PS; its just for towing a trailer and not a caravan. Not that ive anything against vans.
