Hi Guys

Can anyone help me i am looking for the part number for the Plastic push in clips that hold the door panels on,I had to remove the offside rear door panel to look at the inside of the door to see why it would not open from the outside (yes i did check the child lock first ) and has always a couple snapped as i was pulling of the panel,Also if you know where i can get them from,or even if someone has some spare.

Keep up the good work Guys look forward to your replies:)

Can't help with the part number for the clips - but did you establish why the door wouldn't open ? Was it an internal breakage in the locking unit?

No was not a breakage in the locking system,Spent a good hour trying to figure out why it would not open from the outside it would open from the inside ok so in the end i gave the locking system and lock a good dose of WD40 left it for an hour and you would not believe it it worked fine all i can say is thank god for WD40

I phoned my local dealers and they wanted £45 for the front door clips, granted the passenger and drivers door but i thought that was ridiculous

Are we talking about the plastic door clips that tend to break when you pull the door cards off?

If so, then just ask a local bmw dealer, i did last week, door clips were 12p a pop.

Some enterprising people on ebay sell door clips(do a search for "bmw door clips" or "door clips e39") for 99p for a pack of 8 or 10, but then charge 3quid for delivery :)

The door clips holding the top door moulding are probably also standard bmw fare too.

Info taken form another thread

You need two types of clip, 2 grey and 6 white

Part numbers are:

Grey Clips: EKM100090
White Clips: EKM100100

Both clips were 71p each inc VAT - I think the minimum order quantity may be 10 for each type.

For info the black metal clips you mention details are:

EKM100250 Clip-Front/Rear Door inner waist seal @ £1.43 each inc VA
