I will be going, anyone wishing to join me, meet me at McDonalds at the Eastern end of the M57. I intend to leave there at 10-am to arrive at Thryburgh at approx 11-15 am..

I take the Woodhead route up over the top of the Pennines.. So bring oxygen... lol.. When-if in convoy the speed limits will be obeyed.. :( But you can make your own way if you like.. ;) :}

However, it is not a good route for overtaking on, very few passing places, but the route does involve some outstanding scenery and a short stretch of Mway (M1) before we have to turn off for Rotherham. :}

Anyone near the M62 would be better off taking that route.... :}
