Sunday Meet At Hollow Tree ?

Hey Guys what do you think of instead of having it on a first wednesday night
of the month be moved to a sunday afternoon now the weather is getting better ? Yes Or No ?

Well, it looks like I'm the odd one out. (I'm used to it!). I usually have more free time in the evening than I do at the weekend. Mid week especially. And it beats sitting in front of the telly.

As I posted elsewhere I don't have a preference but Sunday meets would mean we could work on cars easier when needed.

A thought, maybe we could do meets on Sunday and Wednesday alternative months.

I think you should keep it to Wednesday evenings,I'm in fear otherwise of this region becoming more popular than the Yorkshire section. ;)

The last meet being labeled a "Nano meet" brought some peeps who wanted jobs doing on their cars, this didn't really happen. So numbers will prob be lower at the next one.. :shrug:

As for Jimbo wanting alternate months I am lost for words!! Based on past experiences we will get peeps turning up on the wrong months at the wrong places, and probably driving the wrong cars!! lmho.... :o:o:D

Sounds a very good idea Jim i think both meets could become very popular
first one was our first so we were just starting off so i think it could
get very good with everyones help like the last meet.

As I said I don't really have a preference but I do note that those that have voted to date have gone for Sunday.

Just a thought if we move on a regular basis to Sunday we'll have to make sure the date chosen doesn't clash with another event as it can get quite busy with meets during April to September. After checking over the next few months the first Sunday of the month seems to be the best bet.

Maybe we could discuss this next Wednesday.

I think Sunday is an excellent idea but what does the Publican think?

Be there tomorrow for the normal 2000hrs Wednesday meet as it maybe the last judging by the reaction so far.

May also get more members families there on a Sunday afternoon as it is a 2/4/1 food pub with reasonably decent grounds, although not many people used it during the Nano meet, me included and I felt a bit guilty about that!

hi Jim sorry not been on dog died in sleep
and partner been very upset :(

But if people want to have both the first wednesday
and sunday of the month for both as use the wednesday to sort things out like future meets like a nano and things like that.

Also will bring the Rover 75 S reg to the meeting as well for a little drive :)

It looks like we will be changing the regular meets to the first Sunday in the month. I'll probably still pop along to the Hollow Tree next Wednesday as well to let anybody know that hasn't seen the annoucement.

Maybe have the wednesday night one for sorting things like meets and things like that and people that cant get along to a wednesday night have a sunday one so to have good chat and look at some of the nice cars :)
