I've got the 1.8t manual. I would imagine, the 1.8 manual would be slower than the 1.8t auto, but you'd have lots of toys to make up for it!

I am surprised that it has cruise control as I thought no 1.8 engines had factory fitted cruise. Never mind I have been known to be wrong very often ;)

Good luck Bri

Hi Bri
Sounds a lovely car but i do think you will miss the auto box.
Don't worry about sat nav. With your years of driving all over the UK you must know just about every street.;)
Wouldn't be without my cruise control. Us old wrinklies need a bit of assistance ! Anyway, find i need to wriggle my feet and legs around on a trip.
Decisions, decisions, good luck
Regards Dave

Sounds fantastic, can imagine your excitement for the next week till you get your hands on it.:drool4:
Don't forget to get the 2 keys with it, it's something easy to forget until later (& the £100 to get one) plus maybe a full size spare wheel if it's only got an aerosol !

Bit of a porkie there Kandy!

The reason I am saying nothing until its confirmed is that there are two in the running. Both being 100 miles apart so if I told you where the two are we would probably disappoint half of the members by getting hopes up.

I promise as soon as its been decided where and when the next meet is everyone will know.
