My new laptop has a finger print reader and built in 2mp camera. The drivers for these items are installed but no software? What software do I need to make use of these additions?

Strange no Software Supplied Zeb.
First have you checked the Makers Website?
Fingerprint readers are such a Gimmick and are not secure at all.
It takes about 20 seconds for someone to gain access once it has been used when they know how.
Ensure you use another system to secure if Important.
Passwords with Letters and Numbers in both upper and lower case are best.

Back to Question.....
I have Intel Camera Software for mine but there must be Programs available, as well as the basic Windows use of.

Thanks John. With the fingerprint reader it would just be nice to be able to use it, no real security issues to worry about!

What make and Model Number is your Computer Zeb with this on?
I'm sure to have something for both Camera and Reader.
By the way Fingerprint readers don't work with FireFox Browsers without some workarounds!

You dont need software for the scanner. Run your finger of it and it should normally kick off the application related to it.

Also, I disagree with JDC. HP scanners on their latest range are quite possibly the best scanners yet (as are IBM).

Took over 15 hours to crack one in our research lab.
