Don't think I know the car in question.

Yes very nice with all the upgrades including the premium grille, lpg and xpowers :drool4:.

Imho however I think the seller will struggle to get a sale at the currrent asking price.

I saw this some 4 days ago on ebay he has put the price up since then as it was originally priced around 5500.

No worries, just remembered it because of the recent lpg discussion :)

Great car, tempted, but not for nearly nine grand.

Low mileage, recent lpg conversion, premium bumper with MG7 surround ?

Surely worth every penny :)

Around 8~8.5 k seems a good price.

I would agree, having watched the prices of these cars for a number of years, the prices do currently appear to be creeping upward. Add LPG which will half the fuel costs (the biggest critiscm on these cars) it's a lot of car for the money.

42,000 miles it's nothing, I have one over 135,000 and it stil runs like a dream, I reckon it was only run in at 95,000.

If I was looking for another (I think 2 is currently enough :D) I would be knocking on his door sooner rather than later.

Well I will watch the listing with interest as based on your comments I should have had a queue beating my door down a month ago.

True very true - but it was a Rover with a premium bumper, very expensive paint and a total BMW ice upgrade including a hybrid digital TV tuner........but that's life :p: :flame:

i think the paint can put some people off the car . i personally am not a fan of those colours and people think omg if it gets scratched or needs paint its gonna cost a fortune . just my humble opinion

I take a slightly view to Mark's--but fully respect his opinion. I think that in the future--if this is not already the case--most V8s will (thankfully) end up in the hands of true enthusiasts, e.g. some of the frequent and key contributors to this forum. Often, but not always, the rarity (and beauty in my opinion) of such colours is an added attraction and is almost a point of distinctiveness.

However, despite the beauty of the the car in the link that I originally posted here, I tend to agree that it is still over-priced,

Dave

It's just a shame the LPG tank takes up so much space. It would be an ideal "every day" car if there was actually a spare wheel well to put one in.

Shame it's been ruined. Its a zt not a 75 ditch the chrome and at least 3 grand.

Seriously you want me to spend nearly £9000 on a car with a cheap stereo, tacky badges on one of the worst written ads I've seen in my life... Emmmm no

It also appears on hpi the class of fuel hasn't been changed with DVla

What s type r could you get for that money

You can also pick up post 2000 M3s for that money..

Its lovely, but im pretty sure its the V8 that was on eBay earlier in the year for £2500 with a dodgy engine. Im sure hes done a lot of work, but 6 grands worth?

I have to laugh at the question at the bottom.. swap for a Z4 2.0i with cash on top going the Z4s way?? The guy needs a slap just for thinking it.

Doodles has hit the nail on the head for me there. I can only speak for myself but if I were going to spend that kind of money on a car, as much as I love the 75/ZT, I don't think I could rationalise buying one over the choice available to me for those kind of pennies.

Fantastic car - and if I'd seen it at the apparent circa-£5000 pricetag I would have made moves on it.

A LPG converted 260 (bit more miles though) will be coming up for sale soon not too far from you that will be available for less than £5,000.

Between £6,000 - £7,000 seems reasonable to me ... But then, what do I know? ;)

Obviously quite a lot--especially since interested parties agreed with you and were not prepared to go beyond that figure.
