This section is for any items you want to offer as a direct swap in exchange for articles of a similar worth, and is open to all members of the club to use. If you have some spare parts that are no longer needed - a bumper, or a set of car mats, a printer, a lawnmower, or even a cuckoo clock - almost anything can be offered up here for exchange as along as they do not fall under any of the following categories:

Items of an adult or titillating nature
Livestock or domestic pets
Firearms, knives or other offensive weapons
Invitations to any form of money-generation scheme
Items that are specifically prohibited from re-sale within the terms of the original purchase

If you are at all unsure whether the item you have is acceptable then just ask and we will let you know.

NO ADVERTISING, SELLING OR TRADING PLEASE
No advertising of your business or offering to swap services or items for money. There are numerous websites to trade and/or sell your items including the club classifieds section right here on the forum. The Swap-a-rama is NOT the place to earn money through such sales.

This section can be freely viewed and used by all members, subscribed or otherwise, and we ask that members respect the club rules on selling when using this forum. If it becomes evident that non subscribed users are attempting to exchange items for financial reward, those listings will be moderated in accordance with established club rules.

SAFETY Be aware!
DO NOT list your phone number, email or postal address in your post. There are unscrupulous people out there able to read your listing who may "collect" information about you from your posts. This could lead to identity theft, home invasion, or unwanted phone calls.

Although the item must be a direct swap and no money is to change hands, you are of course entitled to ask for the cost of carriage incurred. However, this must be strictly charged at cost only - inflating the price to try and make a few pounds through the back door is not allowed.

The club will not be held responsible for any exchanges made via the use of this forum, and accepts no liability for the condition or suitability of any items advertised.

Posts from members that are deemed to be either in violation of the guidelines set above, or otherwise considered unfit for publication, may be removed without notice.
