The Thryburgh meets are generally once a month and the Spanner meets less frequent as they involve more planning. Check back here as there's usually something going on.

That spot of rain today didn't spoil it for us. Nice Ignition Blue ZT you have there with the electric black leather seats, sunroof and high spec dash. One of my Vis motors was duff as well, thanks Brian and Mr Stocktake for finding that out for me - NOT :(:(:(

Time flew as usual. before we knew it it was after 3pm. missed the football again :) :)

i know these meets are a no work on car meets but poor raynor was having so much trouble with his air con, just before we left, Jim and I decided to see if we could help.

He has already had the fan changed and the A/c regassed but still it refuses to work.

So, Start car, select demist, fan comes on at low speed. Look to pulley at lower end of engine and see compressor pulley running but clutch centre not running.

Jim and I concur that either there is no power to the compressor or the compressor is kaput.

A quick look in the engine bay fuse box shows the aircon is run by a 10amp fuse.............................................. .................................................. .................................................. .................................................. .................................................. .................................................. .................................................. .................................................. .................................................. .................................................. .................................................. .................................................. .................................................. ........................................that is missing :o

Swap fuse and compessor kicks in .

If only he had somebody in the family that knew about cars :o :getmecoat:

Four PZ2 screws each, use a magnetic stubby as the balance is awkward to get to the lower screw, especially if you have the traction control unit.
