The estate of the ex-owner needs to sell the car so they have reduced the price to £9,750 to sell. This car is more than worth the price. I would get it to play around with but I know my life would be lost with in hours of my wife finding out!

It's definitely not a wind up. Tim set up the two-sixties owners' group, and is completely fanatical about our cars :) so apart from the unlikely chance that someone else is winding Tim up, then you're on safe ground!

Going to see tomorrow!
Pity she isn't blue, maybe the changeover wouldn't be noticed!
Anything I should be looking for?

looks like I wouldn't be keeping the 190 much longer!

Been to see it, very nice
Unfortunately, i thought it was a ZTT,
and I need some of the toys...
& I can't afford to run another car on petrol, but still need to work out how to fit LPG without losing all the boot space.

But the exhaust note (:drool4: ) has won me over so starting a serious plan....

Car is a manual, no cruise control, Does have Xenons, rear electric windows and a nice ICE (6cd multichanger)
have some photos I took when I saw it, will look see what else I noted.
I didn't bite 'cos:

Basic spec not + or SE
ZT not ZT-T (my fault, dunno why I thought it was the latter)
Colour (Prefer Trophy Blue* or Red)

*Might take some time before any switch was noticed by those that would object......

Currently driving:
ZT-T 190+, Trophy Blue. LPG (very environmentally friendly:hippy: ), Cruise control (Cos I get lazy), Auto dip rear mirror (ditto), Auto wipers (ditto), Towbar (apparently Hovercraft aren't road legal)
Snooper (:flame: :flame: Gatso)

Do you want me to keep you in mind Jon if I come across a TB ZTT260SE?

What about 3 V6's? (that would be the same number of cylinders as 2 V8's)
Or a V6 ZT and a V8 Range Rover?
Jonathan

PS have asked to join the 260's but no response yet.

Whats in your garage?
ZT-T 190+ (V6)
Sylva Mojo (Renault 5 GT Turbo engine)
RobinHood Exmo (Ford 2.0 Pinto) (really must sell this one)
Ford Granada 2.9 V6 (plan to sell)
Range Rover Vogue EFi V8 (Half share of!)
Racing Hovercraft
various bits of other cars.......

When did Rincewind sell his ZTT diesel to buy a V8 ?

You little tinker you. :)

The club has technical experts, people who were involved in the development of the 260 and Rover V8. Plus technical members, Roger Parker, Scooter, and the owners. (who are growing in knowledge every day through discussions and posting)

The trick is to organise and evolve the foundations now while people are still around and fresh with the knowledge. We have Nic, Andy Kitson, and Mark Lewis on board, none have a V8......yet. But all have the 'knowledge'

On top of that we have a group of members who are big time enthusiasts about the V8. There are 139 members which adds up to 141 V8's. Thats 16% of the total production if you take 883 as the production number who are members of the Two-Sixties.

Add to that a group who have developed, produced and sold a replacement hose to one of the weaknesses to the cooling system. We are organising replacement MG badges which don't delaminate. A lovely set of SS zero exhausts. See where I'm going here. :)

All in 14 months ;)

:jedi: resist young one, the dark side is not stronger, just easier...:jedi:

Errr, I prefer the mk1 nose*? Don't like the SatNav? Damn, must resist :banghead: :banghead:
Oh god, ... the temptation :drool4: :gorgeous:

*Damn I've got a spare one in the garage... and the mk2 is a better car??
Why didn't I see this before splashing out £450 on New tyres (T1-R's), and £420 at rustmaster...

I'd love to own a V8 chaps and I was goven the opportunity by the good lady last year when I was selecting my current chariot. I came knicker wettingly close but then I had to stop and think about the amount of miles I drive a year for work and the p per mile wouldn't cover the costs and it would be in having a service every 4 months or sooner (as it's not the kind of car that can just sit still for 10 minutes can it!) it was just going to cost be too much to own.

So, reluctantly, and believe you me it was reluctantly, I plumped for the ZT-T squiesel I have now (and love to bits even though I'm having problems with the air con so it's not just the V8's that suffer from it!).

Perhaps in the future when I have some more disposable £££ in the bank, I may source on.

Tim kindly invited me to the Two-Sixties for the reasons that he's popped down in this post so I help where I can as I lived ate and breathed the cars from the rescue from Prodrive to that fatefull day nearly 2 years ago. I've driven some of the current owners cars so I have quite a link with a number of vehicles on the site.

Hence why one is an Honoury Member!
