Can’t click to open programs.

Getting fed up with it now! When I click on a program icon the search page opens instead.
Any ideas?

Windows XP John. It’s been there for quite a while, I can open the program if I right click and select open though.

Try going onto control panel then mouse. The buttons are customisable and it should say "click(default)" for the left button. Sometimes they can change for no apparent reason.

The mouse buttons work OK Colin, it just doesn’t open the right program, it opens the ‘search page’ any program I try to start!

If the left button is opening the search option instead of the program then it is not working ok! Try going into the control panel, mouse and click "restore defaults". It may work!:)

That’s fixed it Colin, couldn’t find a default setting in mouse but I messed around with the setting and it work OK now, thanks.
