Hi All,can you read this auction and tell me what could be up with the gearbox, i could get this for around £1 if no body else bids,

If it is not solenoids then perhaps reverse speed piston is the culprit. It does funny things to the drive. Can be repaired in situ. When it gets hot I suspect oil pressure is being lost via the reverse speed piston.

Surely at that price one could buy a decent auto box to fit and get it all sorted out?
