FBH Remote

Hello everyone,


I've recently retrofitted the FBH unit to my car, And finely my Remote has arrived from China, However it appears that it isnt the latching type that ive ordered.


Is there a way to use this unit? if Not i'll get the proper one re-ordered

I've found wiring diagrams on how to do this but not for this application (earth pin3) so i'm getting lost

Depending what contacts you have you can make it so it latches it's self up, but you would need to cycle the power to drop it out

I have a wiring diagram somewhere to do exactly what you want.
I bought the same type of remote, my brother sorted it out so it latches.

It involves another 2 relays connecting to it.

Great. I've got a box of std car relays. Hopefully I can get this going

This is the diagram my brother made before modifying mine.

IMPORTANT; It's set up to provide a live +12v as the trigger signal as my old FBH was an older version, you'll probably need an earth rather than 12v to trigger yours.
