Recently I changed both rear sets of foot-brake pads.
Ever since then the nearside inner pad rattles. It appears to be a loose fit in the piston. I have tried tightening up the 3 spring clips that grip inside the piston without success.
When the pads were supplied, there was a thin metal plate clipped to the back of the pad, with inkjet type writing on the plate. On the advice of Eurocarparts, these were removed before the pads were fitted. I am wondering if these plates should have been left on.
Yours thoughts please.
