TD4 clutch master?

Has anyone replaceda clutch master with the TD4 one? The prices are significantly different!

Does it actually fit?
Using TD4 slaves has become common, but so far I've not read of a suitable alternative for the master, be it for diesel or petrol models.

The mountings are different but it would not be difficult to fabricate a mounting plate.
