Just been brought back by AA with caravan behind towtruck. Lost nearly all the water, topped up with over 4 litres. AA thought it might be snapped off bleeder valve on hose. Put in bolt with PTFE and chemical sealer. Next day I did 22 miles and lost all again!
Oil correct colour and level, top hose hot, return pipe with water from pump, no exhaust fumes in water, and strangest of all, no drips or leaks.
Any suggestions would be most gratefully received! Where can I start next???
Car is a 2001 2,5 V6

Well the water must be going somewhere!
Some ideas-
1- leaking from thermostat/pipe work in the V of the engine block.
2- heater matrix- check your car carpets.
3- its burning it, white smoke from exhaust.

another couple of culprits are the lower hoses under the rad, known to corrode

less likely, waterpump

There are so many threads on this that if you do a search, you are bound to find.

In principle it is either lost externally or internally.

Park on cardboard and check and have a look under the oil filler cap.

But do a search on here, I have written about it and so have many others.
