Removing covers from Skull Caps

Hi everyone,

Is there an easy way of removing the chrome covers from skull cap type wing mirrors?

I see the thread on Bullet type which states you have to remove the glass to release the internal clips on the covers, but skull cap covers do not seem to have the same arrangement so wondering if it is possible to remove the covers without removing the glass etc.?

Yes, skull caps release from the front!

Be gently with them and work your way round (I used an old credit card) and they will come off!

skull cap covers are easy to remove start at the bottom, where the clips are there are four,once one releases the other three come with it, as the top is a long lip :bowdown:
