The next "famous" South Queensferry meet at The Hawes Inn will be Friday the 30 th November 30/11/12 from say 4pm on.

Conferred with the boss and you can turn my " 2 possible bums on seats" into 2 probable / definites :)

No can do, I am backshift (always seem to be for these meets!). You can all call round my house on the way though and laugh at the old girl sitting on her axle stands thanks to one stuck bolt....... but thats another story!

Despite walking back and forwards through the restaurant a few times:confused:, not getting the chocolate santa's :shrug: and a having to wait until the boat came in with my fish we had a good time...good to meet a few new faces and have a good natter...which is the main point of the evening...and the free dessert helped too:}

Managed to get home before the black ice arrrived (drive is like a skating rink this morning) so just like to wish everyone a Merry Christmas when it comes

I had a hairy moment or two on the A90 back to Perth - a two-mile stretch that had apparently experienced a freak snowstorm while I was in Queensferry. Still alive, if now in need of time to powerwash the car.

Totally worth it for free sticky toffee pudding though.

Technical tip for future reference ....when driving the 260 on ice wearing waterproof trousers with elastcated bottoms would have saved you having to powerwash the inside :D:D
