Does anyone know the diameter of the front discs on a 2002 75 Club 2.0 Litre V6 (saloon)?

Are they 284mm vented discs?

284mm is correct for all models except the MG ZT and TT 190 which uses 325mm.
I do not have the info. for V8

I thought they used air brakes and parachutes on V8's

Hi Simon. I am not a fan of those believing you don't get something for nothing. O/E discs and pads from ECP (01767 682100) are more expensive but, I believe, worth the extra. If not, Mintex are a reputable brand and I use them for our Vectra. I see they have Mintex as well but assume you bought the others.
Please let us know how you get on with them.

Hi crofts

The discs and pads have just arrived. I know what you're saying about known-name brands, but these look pretty good to me. The pads are made by Allied Nippon Ltd, Tokyo Japan (Japan Brake Industrial which is part of Hitachi). www.alliednippon.com (http://www.alliednippon.com)

Here's their website info:

ANL, a major OEM supplier for renowned vehicle manufacturers, caters to the requirement of various Original Equipment Manufacturers which include Honda, Suzuki, Mitsubishi, Mazda, Toyota, Fiat, GM, Ford, Daewoo, Hyundai, International Harvester and Massey Ferguson, and Brake system suppliers including Bendix and Girling.

Allied Nippon Bonded Brake Shoes are also used as Original Equipment on two wheelers manufactured by Hero Honda, Yamaha, Kawasaki Bajaj, Royal Enfield, Kinetic Motors in India and Piaggio in Italy.

I'm not going to fit them yet - will wait for the appropriate mileage to come up (my car's only done 24,000).
