It is quite possible the connectors have broken away from the glass, take a look behind the rear quarter panel drivers side.

You mean the heated rear window don't you? Or do you mean the 'demist' button which directs maximum airflow to the windscreen and turns on the HRW? Please clarify so that we can advise accurately.

Before you start dismantling things, give your battery a session on a bench charger. The 75 has the ability to inhibit operation of certain electrical equipment if the battery voltage is low.
