There are two forum members who can help you, Jules, who is based in North Wales,or Andy Willi, based in Doncaster, but operates a mobile service, including clutch fitting .

Since your car is still driveable, I'd go with Jules as well, it's a pretty straight route from this side to Colwyn Bay, mainly non-stop A-road, just a couple of hills to negotiate at the end. Plenty of members on here will vouch for his expertise in all things 75/ZT - something money can't buy!!

You can find Jules at http://www.the75andztclub.co.uk/forum/forumdisplay.php?f=74 - call him or drop him a PM.

If you need it doing really quick, or it begins to slip more often/fail, I got mine done by Peter Jones in Birkenhead, Wirral (mine was a complete failure after Hopton MG screwed it up, and needed it doing asap for work). There is two Peter Jones' in Birkenhead, the correct one is on Shrewsbury Road, "not" the chap on Argyle Street. He is an MG/Rover/Austin/Honda specialist, my friends mum was taking her Ambassador to him all them years ago, so he's been around long enough. Fortunately for me, he managed to squeeze my car in and had the car back to me 3 days later, not had a problem since, touch wood.

Didn't know Jules did clutches. His other work has always been excellent.

M and R Motors Macclesfield or Car Care Crewe I've been recommended. Never used either though.

Guys,
Quote in Dublin for replacement of the three elements of the clutch €1350 with rover parts, €1100 otherwise. Does this sound expensive?

I'll throw P&M of Widnes into the mix too. Had my clutch and flywheel done there in December.
