I have a CDT and fitted crusie control using 2nd hand parts but I'm not sure its working properly.

This is how mine seems to be working
I push the switch under the radio and the light on the switch comes on. nothing else happens.

I then push up (i think) the bottom switch on the steering wheel and the motorway light comes on on the instrament panel. nothing else happens.

i press the top switch on the steering wheel and crusie control takes over.
if i touch the brake or clutch the cruise control is disengauged but the motorway light stays on

can you use the cruise control buttons to slow down to a different speed?

if the cruise control is set and i touch the brake or clutch the motorway light stays on on the instramanet panel ? is this correct?

if i press the bottom switch on the steering wheel the motorway light on the instrament panel goes off and I can not get it to come back on unless i turn the switch off and on again under the radio. is this correct?

Am i just doing it wrong?

thanks

to get it to fully to function it needs to go on t4 and have the coding changed

Thanks Guys, have i just been lucky to have it work at all without T4?

mmm, who can I call on for T4 help in the areas of Southampton, Barnstaple or Peek District ??
Thought I had a book mark for a link but cant find it.

Phil-T4, is your closest chap who's able to alter your ZCS coding correctly.
This goes beyond what a garage with T4 is able to do ;)

Retro fitted cruise will work with the exception of the "resume" button, which does nothing. All other functions work as normal. :}
