Looks great, my nine year old petrol head son would love me to sort a TopGear type sofa from the rear leather seats of a 75.
Assume with some carpentry skills it could be done...
More info please

Would love one with the leather electric seats! Was it difficult to mount to the wheels?

The heated seats could come in useful if this cold snap continues

Finding a old set of wheels with just a flat plate, was quite hard.
Removed the runners, then cut the runner supports off, so that I had got a flat base.
Cut a piece of steel to the size of the 4 supports.
Drilled and tapped 4 holes
Welded (very carefully the steel plate to the supports)
Job done.
Would have loved heated seat

I had a similar one a few years ago that I made from an old astra gte seat :) sounds like it was done exactly the same way as you described.

I'm sure an electric one could be done but it would require a lead going to it with a 12v transformer (or a large battery on the bottom)

How much to make me one using a Blue Monaco ZT seat? May accept Yellow or Red Monaco
