No sound from Speakers

Weird issue occurred today, I have no sound from my stereo, stereo is the Kenwood unit fitted to a 04 ZTT with the 6 CD changer

Any ideas?


And to top this off this evening the acceleration was really poor, suspect maybe knackered MAF

Presumably it's the same for both radio and CD's...?

If all 6 speakers are silent, I'd start with the connector on the rear of the head unit.

Seems as though my CD changer is faulty, after unplugging this everything is now OK, I suspect dampness maybe at fault

Might be a good idea to check out your Plenum drains just to make sure you don't have any water sloshing about.

Thanks for the tip, my CD changer is in the tourer boot so I suspect that the tourer tailgate is leaking somewhat or it got soaked when the tailgate was opened
