IPOD Cable in Glove to rear of Cd player

Hi, I've got a replacement for my CD player IPOD connection, the cable feeds from the glove box to the back of the CD player. I can see how to get the CD player out but getting the cable from the left hand side of the glove box to the rear of the CD player is a mystery.

Any ideas before I pull it all apart?
