my rover 75 (1800 classic w reg) won't start.
apparently it could be a faulty fuel pump (located under the back seat).
it could be a water-logged ecu.
but where do i find the ecu?

It is behind the Rear firewall/Bulkhead in Engine Compartment under the Top Plastic panels about in line with the Passenger Window Wiper.
Also check your Plenum Drains at same time, the Pollen Filter is also fitted in there also.
Do a Search on them because if water in there the ECU is an Expensive repair.

More normally the Fuel Filter Orange clip not attached, but others with more Knowledge of the Petrol Engines will be along soon.

We've had a couple of cars through our workshop where initial diagnosis indicated that the fuel pump was faulty. We tracked the problem back to damaged ECUs due to having been waterlogged.
