Hi all.

Due to losing my company car recently and changes at home i've had to buy a 'Daily Driver' and give up my lovely Connoisseur... luckily my daily driver is another 75!!!! but a more petrol friendly 1.8 :)

So.. i now dont have the space or time that she so lovingly needs and i've decided to try and help somebody out on here who maybe doesnt have the funds to buy a really nice 75 but may have something of interest to me

Its a lovely car that I spent weeks looking for and she would appreciate if i could find her a loving owner who will fix NOT break her.. I made a promise!

The car..
2001 51 plate
77.000mls
2.5 V6 Connoisseur (SE I think???)
Wedgwood Blue
Very original and garaged past 4 months

Exterior..
Like i said i looked for weeks for a 75 with my main concern being body condition. The car is simply stunning, it has been cared for and loved which really shows. I would ask anybody whos interested to veiw as the pictures dont do the bodywork justice! Some body has added chrome roof rail trims which really suit the car. Under the bonnet is a sight to behold.. you could eat your dinner off it and thats no joke!!!!!!!!!!!!! I have bought some colour match touch up but have yet to use it which I will include.

Interior..
Very original and all working. The leather is beautiful and clean as are all of the trim panels. it has the REAL walnut, the steering wheel shows no signs of wearing through (Like most). EVERYTHING works including the heated electric seats. The rear of the car has had little use and really shows. Carpets are clean and have had genuine overmats fitted from new.

Not so good bits..
I bought the car from a gent whos father had developed an eye condition and could no longer drive.. tbh i dont think he had the money to look after such a car and it was starting to show.

*N/S/F Coil spring broken
*3-4 tyres are nearly worn to the limit
*Intermittant manifold noise, light clicking (Vis motors?)
*No MOT or Tax i planned to put the car on the road in the summer.
*Non genuine rear back box which is a little noisier than a genuine part(Im being picky but honest)
*Front number plate missing
*2 keys although one has a split in the metal key blade
*I do not currently have the service history (long story which I will explain to anyone one is interested but the car is a well looked after example with genuine mileage and i recommend a veiwing to confirm this)
*Belts were done in 2010 at 55k by a garage in wakefield.. I had the reciept with the other history but you will need to take my word. if I wasnt sure i would tell a member to do them but i've seen the invoice for £713 + Vat iirc.
*Locking wheel nut key missing

Some tyres and a coil spring and i'm sure it would fly through any MOT... it really drove stunning!!!

Before I offer the car for sale and maybe to the benefit of a fellow member I will offer it as a swap for the following.

1. High end tablet computer (iPad or similar) must be mint condition
2. High end phone (iPhone 4/4s or 5 but must be new or vitually new)
3. Laptop
4. A set of super duper wheels for my new 75 (11 spokes, Gridspokes etc)
5. Double din Headunit for my new car

May also consider a swap for a small runaround as my sister in-law is taking driving lessons.

I hope this car is to the benefit of a member who will cherish her as i would have, she will look after you and promises she will not leak oil and break down but drive you around wrapped in leather and surrounded by walnut!

Thanks for looking and i'm happy to help a member with a possible swap for a super car.

****CAR DRIVES GREAT BUT IS NOT TAXED OR MOT'D SO A TRAILER IS RECOMMENDED****

Thanks

Brilliant.. I'd like the car to find a nice home. I'm not going to the meet as I'm taking family to the airport.
