:( Hi Folks
A friends 2001 2.5 KV6 had the rear of the block coolant pipe snap off without warning.
Even though the correct cooling servicing procedures had been followed, the pipe had some corrosion.
Question is ,is a stainless steel or brass pipe available, as at the last service mine looked like there was some surface corrosion.
They look like a press fit, which may be difficult to work on in situ.

Kind Regards Dan Gardner

I think that's Part 28 in the Rimmer/Xpart drawing:

See http://www.rimmerbros.co.uk/Item--i-GRID001710

It's no longer available according to that, but worth searching other outlets.

The only coolant pipe on the rear of the block is as T-Cuts states in his post and this pipe is the coolant outlet to the heater, header tank, oil cooler (if a later model) and then back into the engine in the 'v'.
