BMW OBD-2 Scanner work for CDT?

Does anyone know if this scanner (link snipped) will help to identify other faults besides engine. it seems to be able to pick up faults on the M47TU engine, is there any difference between that and the M47R on a CDT. Any advice would be appreciated.:)

Sorry bob that is a pirated version of the BMW Carsoft system so best leave the link out for now
Ditto the TIS cd

But no it will not work on our cars at all anyway
