Tam Leek Meet 26.7.13

Hi All.

The next Tam Leek meet at The Hawes Inn at South Queensferry will be Friday 26.7.13.

Usual set up, evening meal at 7.30/8.00pm, i will be there about 5.30pm.

(Should the promenade be very busy, we are allowed to use the Hawes Inn car park at the rear of the building, since we are customers....:D)

I must mention there are cruises from South Queensferry for the next couple of months on the Maid of the Forth on most days.

If anyone fancies a wee cruise under the bridges, i will look into options regarding days/times.

Another excellent night at The Hawes, and the meal was superb as well.

The views across the Forth and the bridges still takes my breath away.

On another note it was great to see Robert's (Gurgle260) Dax kit car, what fun that would be......:drool4:.

Now due to the Motormania at Grantown on Spey at the end of next month which some of us are attending, there will not be a meet at The Hawes on the last Friday in August, however if anyone wishes to come the previous Friday 23rd, please let me know and i will start a new thread.

Enjoyed a good night again ...kept my new "healthy food" regime going (fish dishes without chips !!:() despite my wife being unsupportive and ordering the Rhubarb Brulee..which I was forced to try:drool4:

We even managed to get home in the Dax without the rain coming on , or bits falling off so a good result

My wee car was slightly outshone by the guy who rumbled past in the Lambo convertible....but yet again his annual insurance probably cost more than my car did....and at least I can tinker with mine :}
