Kings Lynn Meet Saturday 20th July

Just to let anyone from the South Lincs or Norfolk area know, that I've organised a Meeting this Saturday in Kings Lynn and that all are welcome.

The venue is the Quality Hotel http://www.akkeronhotels.com/Hotels/Central-and-Eastern-England/Quality-Hotel-Kings-Lynn and is VERY easy to find, as it's just off the main roundabout on the outskirts of Kings Lynn.

If you can make it, please post on this thread. :)

Please note: This purely a Social Event, where we stand round and talk ******** about cars! ;)

There is a decent Bar in the Hotel, I've also eaten there in the past and the meal I had was very good!

Nope no carpets.

Frankly I think I have lost some of the fittings now :mad: Looks like I may need some help to get them back in. Also have a few bits to change like the ash tray that no longer stays in and the ATC unit as I managed to scratch the display on it being ham fisted.

I put all the fixings and fittings into boxes but somehow one has gone awol.

Well just got back from this and we had a turn-out of 8 cars, which for a 1st local Meet, especially with the area that we cover, I'm very pleased with! :)

It was nice to meet some new faces! :)

I've already had some suggestions for the next meet, so will post these up when I have firmed them up a little, but any other suggestions for places to meet, is most welcome! :)

No problem with Burghley House http://www.burghley.co.uk/ and thanks for the suggestion, might be a bit of a trip for some of the Norfolk Members, but certainly well worth considering! :)

maybe but if they are in the north the run from lynn to peterboro is not bad from memory and then i bit up the a1 and you are there.also has a nice tea room and gardens for the ladies.and unless of course you wish to look in the house its free with plently of parking.

Sorry I did not make it, didn't get my car back untill 14:00. but at least it is fixed and I got smooth gear changes again :)

I am planning another Meet at this venue currently, date will be in the next 6 weeks, so will post it up once confirmed and it would be nice to see you there! :)
