Hi there, I've now bought 2 sets of supposed WCS100212 part number for my cdti backbox, one from BOSAL and another from QUINTON HAZELL, they all cross reference with our part number as listed on Rimmer's (http://www.rimmerbros.co.uk/Item--i-WCS100212)

However, after removal of the original one (broken) the size don't match, the original have the same design, roughly double the size?!

Can anyone confirm the size of this rubbers for me please?

thanks in advance!

Genuine rubbers from Rimmers, 65mm tall x 50mm wide x 31mm thick. Cheap enough, should always buy the genuine parts.:}

that's what I've received, though my original ones (they are there from 2005) are ~ double your dimensions....:shrug::shrug:

I suppose my exhaust hanger is different also?

Only applies if the exhaust system is oem ;)

Is the exhaust system the original one (Rover) or is it an aftermarket/ replacement ?

It may be that the hangers from rimmers might not neccessarily be the correct ones, and the ones on the car have been fitted by the people who have replaced an exhaust system to suit that exhaust system , they often keep many different types, and usually will fit whatever fits and works , no matter who makes it ,or what car it's off!!!!

Thats true in the UK also :o

The easiest way to get the right ones for the exhaust system on your car whoever has made it, is to go to an exhaust fitting centre with the rubber you need to replace, and see if they stock any, to match the ones you need, and you know will fit.

Snagger.

I guess I'll do my search on some exhaust specialist around here, however I'm absolutely sure that the exhaust is the original one, since the car is mine from the start :D
Maybe some different parts were used to export cars? I know my springs and shock absorbers have "special" part numbers...
